The PDC contains the master copy of the SAM. Then again, it is entirely possible to use a single LDAP server for the +entire network. +</p><p> +When configuring a master LDAP server that will have slave LDAP servers, do not forget to configure +this in the <tt class="filename">/etc/openldap/slapd.conf</tt> file.
