2011-10-18credentials: Prioritise command-line specified options above defaults from ↵Andrew Bartlett2-0/+22
smb.conf If a user specified -W or --realm on the command line, then this is of level SPECIFIED, not UNINITIALISED, despite it going via the loadparm system. This helps us to ensure that -W server -Ulocaluser is parsed the same as -Userver\localuser. This matters as otherwise we might instead attempt to use kerberos to the realm from the smb.conf. 2011-10-18ldb: fixed a race in ldb initialisationAndrew Tridgell1-1/+9
This fixes a race when two processes initialise the same ldb database at the same time. One of them could fail due to the other creating the @BASEINFO record first. 2011-10-14Fix bug with Samba not recognising an 6to4 IPv6 interface.Matthieu Patou1-0/+13
"The 6to4 interface has the flags IFF_POINTTOPOINT interface but no ifa_dstaddr as it's not at the IPv6 level a point to point interface (at least from my understanding), as we don't have a IFF_BROADCAST flag set (I have the impression that this flag is only set on a interface that has also an IPv4 address) the first test is not valid also, which result in a skipped interface."
2011-10-14libreplace: add a missing "eval" to the AC_VERIFY_C_PROTOTYPE macroMichael Adam1-1/+1
Without this eval, upon test success the corresponding actions (like defining corresponding variables) are not taken. Found by Timur I. Bakeyev, and based on his patch for 3.5.

2011-10-13lib/param reduce the cost of loadparm_init_s3()Andrew Bartlett1-1/+1
The parameter redirection covers most things now, so this should be safe. Andrew Bartlett
2011-10-13lib/util: Add back control of mmap and hash size in tdb for top level buildAndrew Bartlett3-15/+13
This passes down a struct loadparm_context to allow these parameters to be checked. This may be s3 or s4 context, allowing the #if _SAMBA_BUILD_ macro to go away safely. Andrew Bartlett
2011-10-13lib/param Print error when mkdir of lock path failsAndrew Bartlett1-1/+3
This matches the s3 code for lock_path(). Andrew Bartlett

2011-10-11ldb:ldb_autotransaction_request - error string shouldn't be set hereMatthias Dieter Wallnöfer1-5/+0
A generic error string should be set independently of the access mechanism to an LDB operation. Hence it should be handled in "ldb_wait" and "ldb_request" Signed-off-by: Andrew Tridgell <tridge@samba.org> Autobuild-User: Andrew Tridgell <tridge@samba.org> Autobuild-Date: Tue Oct 11 10:15:18 CEST 2011 on sn-devel-104
2011-10-11ldb:pyldb.c - py_ldb_* modification calls - error string shouldn't be set hereMatthias Dieter Wallnöfer1-17/+1
As discussed with Jelmer, we shouldn't be setting a generic LDB error string only for the Python bindings alone. This should be done in "ldb_request" and "ldb_wait" - the common place for all possible LDB access mechanisms. Signed-off-by: Andrew Tridgell <tridge@samba.org>

2011-10-11lib/param Avoid dyn_ defines that are not provided by the autoconf buildAndrew Bartlett1-3/+5
The autoconf build will never use these parameters or load the smb.conf with these defaults, so the defaults are not important. Andrew Bartlett

2011-10-11libcli/smb Move CSC_POLICY_* definition to smb_constants.hAndrew Bartlett1-6/+0
This removes the duplicate definition between smb.h and lib/param/loadparm.c which in turn allows this file to be compiled with the s3 includes.h Andrew Bartlett
2011-10-11lib/param move source4 param code to the top levelAndrew Bartlett6-0/+4652
This is done so that the lpcfg_ functions are available across the whole build, either with the struct loadparm_context loaded from an smb.conf directly or as a wrapper around the source3 param code. This is not the final, merged loadparm, but simply one step to make it easier to solve other problems while we make our slow progress on this difficult problem. Andrew Bartlett

2011-10-07Revert "ldb: support raw OIDs in control string parsing"Stefan Metzmacher2-19/+0

2011-10-07build: Reduce build systems to just top level waf and autoconfAndrew Bartlett1-7/+6
The s3-waf build system is a key component of the top level build, but with this commit is is no longer available directly. This reduces the number of build system combinations in master as we prepare for the Samba 4.0 release. Andrew Bartlett
