2012-10-11vfs: Remove irixacl module (all the fucntions in it are unimplemented)Andrew Bartlett1-5/+0
2012-10-11vfs: Implement a sys_acl_blob_get_{fd,file} for POSIX ACL backendsAndrew Bartlett1-1/+1
This simply linearlises the SMB_ACL_T (default and access acl for directories) and the file owner, group and mode into a blob. It will be useful for an improved vfs_acl_common.c that uses this sets that, rather than the hash of the NT ACL, in the xattr This will in turn insulate the stored hash from changes in the ACL mapping. 2012-09-08s3:vfs_default: add basic support for durable handle request and reconnectMichael Adam1-0/+1
We only grant durable handles for CIFS/SMB2 only access, that means "kernel oplocks", "kernel share modes" and "posix locking" need to be set to "no". For now we also don't grant durable handles if delete on close is active on the handle. Pair-Programmed-With: Stefan Metzmacher <metze@samba.org> Pair-Programmed-With: Volker Lendecke <vl@samba.org>

2012-08-08build: Remove pdbtest from the autoconf buildAndrew Bartlett1-12/+1
pdbtest is internal test utility that is not installed. It is only run from the full (waf) make test, and does not need to be built in the autoconf build. Removing it from the autoconf build makes it easier to expand this test to depend on more parts of Samba. Andrew Bartlett

2012-06-19ntdb: add autoconf support.Rusty Russell1-0/+8

2012-06-16s3-auth: Remove auth_netlogondAndrew Bartlett1-5/+0
auth_netlogond was an important module in the development of the combined Samba 4.0, and was the first module to link smbd with the AD authentication store, showing that it was possible for NTLM authentication to be offloaded to the AD server components. We now have auth_samba4, which provides the full GENSEC stack to smbd, which also matches exactly the group membership and privileges assignment and which is supported and tested as part of the official Samba 4.0 release configuration. 2012-06-16s3-passdb: Remove pdb_adsAndrew Bartlett1-4/+0
pdb_ads was an important module in the development of the combined Samba 4.0, and was the first module to show that standard samba3 tools such as smbpasswd can be made to operate on the sam.ldb. We now have pdb_samba4, which operates directly on the sam.ldb, rather than via ldapi://, which uses transactions and which is supported and tested as part of the official Samba 4.0 release configuration. This module is not as complete (for example, it does not honour the idmap configuration) and requires that the samba binary be running to operate. Andrew Bartlett
2012-06-15s3-build: Do not write loadparm generated files into the build treeAndrew Bartlett1-13/+13
We need to keep these files away from where waf might see them. Andrew Bartlett Autobuild-User(master): Andrew Bartlett <abartlet@samba.org> Autobuild-Date(master): Fri Jun 15 11:10:14 CEST 2012 on sn-devel-104
2012-06-08s3-rpcclient: add fsrvp commandsDavid Disseldorp1-2/+6
fss_create_expose connects to an FSRVP server and negotiates the creation and exposure of a share shadow-copy. shadow-copies of multiple shares can be requested with a single fss_create_expose request. ddiss@plati:~> bin/rpcclient -k -U 'LURCH\administrator%password' \ ncacn_np:lutze[sign] rpcclient $> fss_create_expose backup ro hyper 381884f2-b578-45ea-b8d2-cf82491f4011: shadow-copy set created ... share hyper@{B6137E21-9CBB-4547-A21D-E7AD40D0874B} exposed as a snapshot of \\lutze\hyper fss_delete removes the shadow-copy share: rpcclient $> fss_delete hyper 381884f2-b578-45ea-b8d2-cf82491f4011 \ b6137e21-9cbb-4547-a21d-e7ad40d0874 Shadow-copies can be created read-write or read-only. Experimenting with Windows Server "8" beta, a recovery complete call is required after creating a read-write (ATTR_AUTO_RECOVERY) shadow copy. Otherwise subsequent creation requests fail with FSRVP_E_SHADOW_COPY_SET_IN_PROGRESS.
2012-06-05s3: temporary hack to make the waf build work withouth autotools being requiredBjörn Jacke1-0/+1
this also disables the examples/VFS build for waf now. Finally we should create a wscript file for examples/VFS. Autobuild-User: Björn Jacke <bj@sernet.de> Autobuild-Date: Tue Jun 5 23:56:22 CEST 2012 on sn-devel-104
2012-06-05s3: remove dependency on automake for "make everything"Björn Jacke1-1/+0

2012-06-03s3-build: Remove finddeadAndrew Bartlett1-9/+0
