TNG. Actually, it exists in the main Samba cvs tree in APPLIANCE_TNG
as I found out later :-)
It adds a new parameter: server schannel = yes/auto/no defaulting to
auto.
What does this mean to the user: No requireSignOrSeal registry patch
for XP anymore.
Many thanks for this code to Luke Leighton, Elrond and anybody else I
forgot to mention.
My next thing will be to see if this applies cleanly to 3_0.
Please test and comment!

This tries to extract our server-side code out of sessetup.c, and into a more
general lib. I hope this is only a temporay resting place - I indend to
refactor it again into an auth-subsystem independent lib, using callbacks.
Move some of our our NTLMSSP #defines into a new file, and add two that I found
in the COMsource docs - we seem to have a double-up, but I've verified from
traces that the NTLMSSP_TARGET_TYPE_{DOMAIN,SERVER} is real.
This code also copes with ASCII clients - not that we will ever see any here,
but I hope to use this for HTTP, were we can get them. Win2k authenticates
fine under forced ASCII, btw.
Tested with Win2k, NTLMv2 and Samba's smbclient.

This patch makes Samba compile cleanly with -Wwrite-strings.
- That is, all string literals are marked as 'const'. These strings are
always read only, this just marks them as such for passing to other functions.
What is most supprising is that I didn't need to change more than a few lines of code (all
in 'net', which got a small cleanup of net.h and extern variables). The rest
is just adding a lot of 'const'.
As far as I can tell, I have not added any new warnings - apart from making all
of tdbutil.c's function const (so they warn for adding that const string to
struct).

The problem was the NTLMv2 uses extra data in order to make reply/lookup
more difficult. That extra data includes the hostname, and the domain.
This matches Win2k (sort of) by sending this information.
Win2k connects with LMCompatibilityLevel=5 without a problem.
We can change the negotiation bits if we want, this should allow us to make
NTLMv2 the default for other clients as well.
Some of the extra #defines were found in the squid source.

functions work now:
- spoolenum
- spoolopen
- spoolgetprinter
- spoolgetprinterdriver
Items todo:
- track down memory bug with spoolenumdata
- fix spoolgetprinterdriverdir
- fix spoolgetdata
- fix display_job_info_ctr in spooljobs
All part of the ongoing rpcclient work.
Also included a new generic list ADT. Cleaner and simplier
than the stuff in util_array.c i think (but then that's why I wrote it).

- disabled (AGAIN) the GETDC "if (MAILSLOT\NTLOGON)" code that will get
NT5rc2 to work but WILL break win95 (AGAIN). this needs _not_ to be
re-enabled but to be replaced with a better mechanism.
- added SMBwrite support (note: SMBwriteX already existed) as NT5rc2 is
sending DCE/RPC over SMBwrite not SMBwriteX.

all I saw" - the book of Jeremy, chapter 1 :-).
So here is the mega-merge of the NTDOM branch server code.
It doesn't include the new client side pieces, we'll look
at that later.
This should give the same functionality, server wise, as
the NTDOM branch does, only merged into the main branch.
Any fixes to domain controler functionality should be
added to the main branch, not the NTDOM branch.
This code compiles without warnings on gcc2.8, but will
need further testing before we are sure all the working
functionality of the NTDOM server branch has been
correctly carried over.
I hereby declare the server side of the NTDOM branch
dead (and all who sail in her :-).
Jeremy.
