2003-10-13So here it is a non-intrusive patch with my latest work on gums (theSimo Sorce5-109/+256
laternative to the current passdb). Currently it is run through a comatibility module in the passdb layer, with a subset of the functionality it may provide. It is still work in progress, but as someone asked me about it, and as it should make no difference to the normal code, I tought it was a good idea to put it into. It adds a dependency on perl. I know it is not very nice, but I'm sure we will work out a solution for that. As always blame me if I break something, but try to fix yourself, as I am busy-busy-busy :-) Simo. 2003-09-18The "unknown_5" 32 bit field in the user structs is actually 2 16-bitJeremy Allison3-4/+14
fields, bad_password_count and logon_count. Ensure this is stored/fetched in the various SAMs. As it replaces the unknown_5 field this fits exactly into the tdb SAM without any binary problems. It also is added to the LDAP SAM as two extra attributes. It breaks compatibility with the experimental SAMs xml and mysql. The maintainers of these SAMs must fix them so upgrades like this can be done transparently. I will insist on the "experimental" status until this is solved. Jeremy. SAM_ACCOUNT does not have anymore uid and gid fields all the code that used them has been fixed to use the proper idmap calls fix to idmap_tdb for first time idmap.tdb initialization. auth_serversupplied_info structure has now an uid and gid field few other fixes to make the system behave correctly with idmap tested only with tdbsam, but smbpasswd and nisplus should be ok have not tested ldap ! I haven't seen the rid+attr arrays for group membership, nor sids or the same kind of arrays for resource domains, so I don't know how that will work. Also, the PAC info type 10 is now decoded, but I don't know what it's for. It has an NTTIME, a 16-bit name length, and a username. According to M$, it's not needed, because they didn't doc it...
