W2K3 DC's can have IPv6 addresses but won't serve krb5/ldap or cldap on those addresses. Make sure when we're asking for DC's we prefer IPv4. If you have an IPv6-only network this prioritizing code will be a no-op. And if you have a mixed network then you need to prioritize IPv4 due to W2K3 DC's. Jeremy.

2007-10-24This is a large patch (sorry). Migrate from struct in_addrJeremy Allison1-3/+3
to struct sockaddr_storage in most places that matter (ie. not the nmbd and NetBIOS lookups). This passes make test on an IPv4 box, but I'll have to do more work/testing on IPv6 enabled boxes. This should now give us a framework for testing and finishing the IPv6 migration. It's at the state where someone with a working IPv6 setup should (theorecically) be able to type : smbclient //ipv6-address/share and have it work. Jeremy. Lanman passwords over 14 dos characters long could be considered 'invalid' (they are truncated) - so SMBencrypt now returns 'False' if it generates such a password. This fixes our netbios scope handling. We now have a 'netbios scope' option in smb.conf and the scope option is removed from make_nmb_name() this was prompted by a bug in our PDC finding code where it didn't append the scope to the query of the '*' name.
