(This used to be commit 0cb7639cef4a1ba0d56d7e58bd7e03343cbf229d)
2001-03-15more updates. several spoolss commands added as placeholdersGerald Carter1-6/+23
to be filled in one at a time. (This used to be commit 6aaac3766324302b995b5a55876bf2ab74af1ff8)
2001-03-14set of changes in the beginning of bringing rpcclient changesGerald Carter1-72/+152
back to working order. The main change is that the cli_*() RPC functions from libsmb/*.c now should accept a struct cli_state*. The reason for this is that rpcclient should establish the connection to the server at startup so that it is not necessary to keep the clear test or password hash in memory for each command. enumports and enumprinters now works as well. lsa* functions have been tested. SAMR calls may or may not work (one of the core dumps I know), but it compiles :-) jerry (This used to be commit d98ac8852ae6b39b6fcff92c346ba56d9e63c518)
2001-03-13move charset_initialize() up in the food chain so that lp_load_servicesGerald Carter1-1/+2
and stuff will work.... (This used to be commit e652a14264cf6bed6c6563ad090f645f386d903f)
2001-01-15rpcclient functions for remaining samr and lsa functions. All functionsTim Potter1-0/+64
now pass through insure except for some of the dodgy spoolss prs weirdness. (This used to be commit 76f08426a08881793b0ef32ccc4e13c54f26417f)
2001-01-12Memory leak fixes and uninitialised variables spotted by insure.Tim Potter1-16/+18
(This used to be commit 079f46aca453978a5c313e90f3b24620760ebafc)
2001-01-11Start of a rewrite of rpcclient based on the libsmb rpc client routines.Tim Potter1-19/+340
Currently there are a small selection of lsa, samr and spoolss functions implemented. More to follow... (This used to be commit 9a953514f2a2cfd3c43105dd6203bc3e36aff1b1)
2000-12-08Port of lsa_lookup_sids() and lsa_lookup_names() rpc client functions fromTim Potter1-1/+1
TNG branch. Re-instated lsa_lookup_sids and lsa_lookup_names functions in rpcclient. This requires most samba binaries to link in another handful of object files due to uncessary coupling between modules. )-: (This used to be commit 817819d0cc3ecf642be5a1656be3b71bed260ee4)
2000-07-07More rpcclient merge issues:Gerald Carter1-1/+1
* fixes some readline bugs from the merge * first attempt at commands (spoolenum almost works) * no changes to existing functions in HEAD; only additions of new functions. I'll weed out what I can as I go. --jerry (This used to be commit 12e2a21e1bc4c6fa02606d21cea4cb5a8b4d41a9)
2000-07-03first pass at merging rpcclient from TNG to HEAD. You can get aGerald Carter1-745/+16
semi-connection and a rpcclient prompt, but no functionality there yet. Will be a few more days on that. --jerry (This used to be commit 269051aa0c52728278a1d290148564f11cf7f189)
2000-06-23just enough to get rpcclient to compile. Look for #if 0Gerald Carter1-0/+2
blocks around a few unimplemented functions. Also had to add cli_reg.c to Makefile.in --jerry (This used to be commit 426c43fb5167b042682c22e67871e5ebadb4b769)
2000-06-11Linux kernel oplocks now seem to work, but need a _lot_ of testingAndrew Tridgell1-1/+1
I had to modify sys_select() to not loop on EINTR. I added a wrapper called sys_select_intr() which gives the old behaviour. (This used to be commit b28cc4163bc2faaa80c5782fc02c8f03c410cdeb)
2000-03-21indent update to make t easier to see setuid mods in TNG. someLuke Leighton1-0/+2
code from these modules i had to leave out (nothing to do withj setuid) (This used to be commit 96717211edcc389daa4494907251ffb79ffa56d9)
2000-02-04After 3AM, it's getting hard for Luke :-)Jean-François Micouleau1-5/+4
(This used to be commit 61c970b10adc37412722a6ee54b166d41ed0a071)
2000-02-041) added void* state argument to tdb_traverse. guess what! there wereLuke Leighton1-0/+4
two places i found where it was appropriate to _use_ that third argument, in locking.c and brlock.c! there was a static traverse_function and i removed the static variable, typecast it to a void*, passed it to tdb_traverse and re-cast it back to the traverse_function inside the tdb_traverse function. this makes the use of tdb_traverse() reentrant, which is never going to happen, i know, i just don't like to see statics lying about when there's no need for them. as i had to do in samba-tng, all uses of tdb_traverse modified to take the new void* state argument. 2) disabled rpcclient: referring people to use SAMBA_TNG rpcclient. i don't know how the other samba team members would react if i deleted rpcclient from cvs main. damn, that code's so old, it's unreal. 20 rpcclient commands, instead of about 70 in SAMBA_TNG. (This used to be commit 49d7f0afbc1c5425d53019e234d54ddf205c8e9a)
2000-01-07this looks like a big commit, but it isn't really :)Andrew Tridgell1-4/+5
This fixes our netbios scope handling. We now have a 'netbios scope' option in smb.conf and the scope option is removed from make_nmb_name() this was prompted by a bug in our PDC finding code where it didn't append the scope to the query of the '*' name. (This used to be commit b563be824b8c3141c49558eced7829b48d4ab26f)
2000-01-03got rid of mem_manAndrew Tridgell1-8/+0
yamd is much better, and doesn't require any source code changes if you haven't seen yamd then take a look at http://www3.hmc.edu/~neldredge/yamd/ its excellent! (This used to be commit 25b13f8b79d648188036f027f45bc78ec117cc88)
1999-12-13first pass at updating head branch to be to be the same as the SAMBA_2_0 branchAndrew Tridgell1-1495/+337
(This used to be commit 453a822a76780063dff23526c35408866d0c0154)
1999-12-08ABOUT TIME!!!!!!!!Luke Leighton1-11/+11
damn, this one is bad. started, at least two days ago, to add an authentication mechanism to the smbd<->msrpc redirector/relay, such that sufficient unix / nt information could be transferred across the unix socket to do a become_user() on the other side of the socket. it is necessary that the msrpc daemon inherit the same unix and nt credentials as the smbd process from which it was spawned, until such time as the msrpc daemon receives an authentication request of its own, whereupon the msrpc daemon is responsible for authenticating the new credentials and doing yet another become_user() etc sequence. (This used to be commit 30c7fdd6ef10ecd35594311c1b250b95ff895489)
1999-12-03starting "connection reuse" system in smb-agent. added version numberLuke Leighton1-1/+10
which isn't actually used right now :-) (This used to be commit d54a64ae3ab7cdc1ac67fb49f7255e6a106d624e)
1999-12-03i always get caught out with non-gnu-readline code mods :-)Luke Leighton1-1/+1
(This used to be commit a47cc6447036d0a8b8e3e096d7b51a37d10d3325)
1999-12-03cool! a unix socket smb redirector. code based on smbfilter andLuke Leighton1-1/+1
ideas from ssh-agent. the intent is to be able to share smb sessions using cli_net_use_add() across multiple processes, where one process knows the target server name, user name and domain, but not the smb password. (This used to be commit 294b653f2e9cdc1864ec638ae8b4300df25723cf)
1999-12-03promptline undefined (pline)Luke Leighton1-1/+1
(This used to be commit f33e4ca930f8299c00f861215c5231eef9ecef94)
1999-12-02oops, pwdb_initialise() called unnecessarily from here (failure to readLuke Leighton1-2/+0
trusted domains may cause rpcclient to fail). (This used to be commit 12e2b973216c0798a939f68220b0e6a60acd5c01)
1999-12-02default SID map now reads in "trusted domains" from smb.conf.Luke Leighton1-0/+2
(This used to be commit f0946d1ccafeb5f541935b41f2d54bcbc06797ed)
1999-12-02improved enumdomains added -i option.Luke Leighton1-1/+2
(This used to be commit 50dc709fa95e86ebe2b3132176241cb3a2cc4e36)
1999-12-02clearing up connection-related stuff. password credentials were messingLuke Leighton1-8/+23
up. added a complicated prompt which i don't like, but it tells you domain\user@hostname$ (This used to be commit 338d08f69b0eeefa0f3f2c0217ef17ea3e815e1f)
1999-12-01added net use (actually net -S srv -U user -W dom) and net del (actuallyLuke Leighton1-17/+147
same as net use but with -d and -f) command options (This used to be commit 586db87ea31ebb1b090527f61a4989461f626b1a)
1999-12-01more cli_session_setup() calls. what the heck are these doing???Luke Leighton1-44/+1
they should all be replaced with cli_establish_connection(). created cli_use_wait_keyboard() which waits on multiple cli_states and swallows session keepalives. (This used to be commit fcc39b3f4f2f8d04d3fab09db048b4f3dc1e97d5)
1999-12-011) when no domain used in ntlogin test command, should use default oneLuke Leighton1-1/+1
from previous lsaquery command. over-ridden from DOMAIN\username 2) initialisation of cli_state is a little more specific: sets use_ntlmv2 to Auto. this can always be over-ridden. 3) fixed reusage of ntlmssp_cli_flgs which was being a pain 4) added pwd_compare() function then fixed bug in cli_use where NULL domain name was making connections multiply unfruitfully 5) type-casting of mallocs and Reallocs that cause ansi-c compilers to bitch (This used to be commit 301a6efaf67ddc96e6dcfd21b45a82863ff8f39a)
1999-12-01sys_select added one more argument (read, write selectors).Luke Leighton1-2/+2
(This used to be commit e4d92ff9dfc51735e6932748f66a7c20b2c1cb6a)
1999-12-01split display.c into modules.Luke Leighton1-1/+68
(This used to be commit 5b5719d6a08130db1062bfa24123cedcdc692bff)
1999-11-29ok. got ntlogin command working. argh, it maintains a connection toLuke Leighton1-0/+7
the remote machine, because i don't know what to _do_ with it!!!! argh!!! (This used to be commit 85cc680736f17e3f879895be5dac8f1427653919)
1999-11-29first attempt at getting \PIPE\NETLOGON working. it's pretty horrible.Luke Leighton1-11/+4
(This used to be commit 44dd3efa6380544e9a515e91960f9271498cefaf)
1999-11-27further abstraction involving client states. main client-side codeLuke Leighton1-8/+1
is pretty much independent of SMB client states, which will make it easier to add other transports. (This used to be commit a1ff7e8fc3129ba4a04722f977bc2d3725d13624)
1999-11-27enhanced samuser command to do same thing as enumusers command (-g -u -a)Luke Leighton1-1/+1
except with only one user. done by sharing same code. (This used to be commit 4e029d50fcb9148f2d65c6be2703b1003e68cec7)
1999-11-27bug-fixing registry commands and the rpcclient "rpcclient" command.Luke Leighton1-35/+74
the rpcclient "rpcclient" command allows user options to be reset (e.g the username / password) _without_ terminating rpcclient. try this: rpcclient -S srv1 -U% -l log srv1$ rpcclient -S srv2 srv2$ :-) (This used to be commit c049865782d87ca09744ecdefb387b7852ec2ae7)
1999-11-26whoa. _major_ restructure of rpcclient. fixed some buuugs, created a few.Luke Leighton1-228/+239
found out that getopt() _must_ have optind set to 0 before reuse. still haven't decided what to do with the net* api yet... (This used to be commit 29c480085e786905bfd92ea3cd93658f94e96e47)
1999-11-25cool! completed a samr* API that _would_ look like an msdn samr* api...Luke Leighton1-6/+4
if microsoft bothered to publish it. actually, there are good reasons for not publishing it: people might write programs for it, and then those programs wouldn't work on nt5, for example... (This used to be commit 8ce93b80d3b4e1c1e28aa1dde38cdef184eff3c1)
1999-11-24registry API moved over to new format. reg_connect() is the top-levelLuke Leighton1-1/+6
function, which takes \\server_name. tested a _few_ functions. found that regcreatekey receives a Fault PDU. (This used to be commit 45e92258e7df84c21d23c0be7e1d85457ccac551)
1999-11-24service control manager API completed. svcenum -i works, but does notLuke Leighton1-1/+7
do so twice. possible memory corruption, revolving around getopt(). (This used to be commit 7cacf8bd026f1ee274f1d352c68cf79cf4f3b499)
1999-11-24ok. *whew*. this is the first completed part of the restructure.Luke Leighton1-81/+20
verified that lsaquery, lsalookupsids work, and found some bugs in the parameters of these commands :-) soo... we now have an lsa_* api that has the same arguments as the nt Lsa* api! cool! the only significant coding difference is the introduction of a user_credentials structure, containing user, domain, pass and ntlmssp flags. (This used to be commit 57bff6fe82d777e599d535f076efb2328ba1188b)
1999-11-24first stages of removing struct cli_state* and uint16 fnum from allLuke Leighton1-0/+3
msrpc client code. the intent is to hide / abstract / associate connection info behind policy handles. this makes the msrpc functions look more and more like their nt equivalents. who-hou! (This used to be commit c01b18e632aede6fce7264ef6971d7ddba945cfb)
1999-11-23attempted a svcset command. password is encrypted / messed up, thereforeLuke Leighton1-3/+3
command fails. (This used to be commit 9193f0eff56399e9bc09787dbe785b603886eaa3)
1999-11-23oops!!!! wrong command!!!Luke Leighton1-0/+7
(This used to be commit cbbfef6d2a5335a6daa4fe09ea2d73197417894f)
1999-11-22the last one. that concludes the removal of all next_token() callsLuke Leighton1-1/+1
from rpcclient/cmd_*.c. (This used to be commit ca803c17fa51ace5f2b99b09f5c59893f43ba70d)
1999-11-22okay :) all cmd_() functions now take int argc, char **argv :) thatLuke Leighton1-46/+41
means that some commands need more work, as they still use next_token(), the use of which i wish to avoid. plus, i was getting fed up of the poor command-line processing in some of these commands. i'm starting to need getopt() in them, especially in samsetuser. WARNING: only cmd_samr has been modded to use getopt() so far! reg commands won't work, esp. (This used to be commit 9a1efa03c8bb86c9b7e73f102a9d48fb6a57a523)
