Jeremy. (This used to be commit a7d4a6d1167f7657113148cdf68ea3c491b51b14)
2003-12-11Patch from James Peach <jpeach@sgi.com>. Remove the MAX_CONNECTIONS limitJeremy Allison1-9/+32
by increasing bitmap size. Limited by "max connections" parameter. Bug #716. Jeremy. (This used to be commit 0be57a2eb015f832c6bb6d84525719a3d632f741)
2003-07-16trying to get HEAD building again. If you want the codeGerald Carter1-21/+18
prior to this merge, checkout HEAD_PRE_3_0_0_BETA_3_MERGE (This used to be commit adb98e7b7cd0f025b52c570e4034eebf4047b1ad)
2003-03-31- Support absolute paths in vfs and charset modulesJelmer Vernooij1-2/+2
- Fix typo in Makefile.in - Fix compatibility with older vfs modules (from patch by metze) - Build some modules shared by default and some static (and fall back to static when dlopen() is not available) (This used to be commit aa36f462d95f8a3a3a81a89c210b98a6f9fd295f)
2003-03-31Don't try and dlsym or dlclose a NULL pointer.Andrew Bartlett1-9/+12
The new modules system does not always dlopen() it's modules, and when it does, it keeps them open for the life of the server, not the life of the connection. This caused a segfault on every tree disconnect! Andrew Bartlett (This used to be commit c76ecbae6295022d031d2e286f2d67e5d08946a2)
2003-02-01Non-error connection numbers are always positiveAndrew Bartlett1-2/+2
(This used to be commit 69e94440cd89a19bbcebc49d87836153b452da47)
2003-01-17Fix reference count bug where smbd's would not terminate with noJeremy Allison1-1/+12
open resources. Jeremy. (This used to be commit 0173d6fe164568a73247fa542895443fad6c20c3)
2002-08-20Based orginally by work by Kai, this patch moves our NT_TOKEN generation intoAndrew Bartlett1-2/+22
our authenticaion code - removing some of the duplication from the current code. This also gets us *much* closer to supporting a real SAM backend, becouse the SAM can give us the right info then. This also changes our service.c code, so that we do a VUID (rather than uid) cache on the connection struct, and do full NT ACL/NT_TOKEN checks (or cached equivilant) on every packet, for the same r or rw mode the whole share was open for. Andrew Bartlett (This used to be commit d8122cee059fc7098bfa7e42e638a9958b3ac902)
2002-08-01Fixed compiler warning.Tim Potter1-1/+1

2002-07-30OK!Simo Sorce1-4/+19
Finally the cascaded VFS patch is in. Testing is very welcome, specially with layered multiple vfs modules. A big thank to Alexander Bokovoy for his work and patience :) Simo. (This used to be commit 56283601afe1836dafe0580532f014e29593c463)
2002-05-17Get the sco boxes compiling again - use the sys_ intefaces for all the dl*Andrew Bartlett1-1/+1
funcitons. (This used to be commit c37c1e39253d9d21f8ab38ab8d24f7e787008596)
2002-03-27Removed HAVE_LIBDL from most places (except system.c). Added checks forJeremy Allison1-2/+0
dlopen & friends into configure.in. This should help building on *BSD where dl*** calls are in libc. Jeremy (This used to be commit ac1baba35d7a399bf800ced49a4384e39955e3eb)
2002-01-30Removed version number from file header.Tim Potter1-2/+1

2001-10-02Removed 'extern int DEBUGLEVEL' as it is now in the smb.h header.Tim Potter1-2/+0
(This used to be commit 2d0922b0eabfdc0aaf1d0797482fef47ed7fde8e)
2001-09-17move to SAFE_FREE()Simo Sorce1-3/+2
(This used to be commit a95943fde0ad89ae3f2deca2f7ba9cb5ab612b74)
2001-06-20added a close-share smbcontrol message that forcibly closes a share in smbd ↵Andrew Tridgell1-0/+30
(to allow unmount) (This used to be commit 15b17a80db605a55f667c95fb7e316877a441887)
2001-03-11Merge of new 2.2 code into HEAD (Gerald I hate you :-) :-). Allows new SAMRJeremy Allison1-4/+0
RPC code to merge with new passdb code. Currently rpcclient doesn't compile. I'm working on it... Jeremy. (This used to be commit 0be41d5158ea4e645e93e8cd30617c038416e549)
2000-10-06Restructuring of vfs layer to include a "this" pointer - can be an fsp orJeremy Allison1-11/+3
a conn struct depending on the call. We need this to have a clean NT ACL call interface. This will break any existing VFS libraries (that's why this is pre-release code). Andrew gets credit for this one :-) :-). In addition - added Herb's WITH_PROFILE changes - Herb - please examine the changes I've made to the smbd/reply.c code you added. The original code was very ugly and I have replaced it with a START_PROFILE(x)/END_PROFILE(x) pair using the preprocessor. Please check this compiles ok with the --with-profile switch. Jeremy. (This used to be commit b07611f8159b0b3f42e7e02611be9f4d56de96f5)
2000-08-03Added an NT_USER_TOKEN structure that is copied/passed around associatedJeremy Allison1-1/+4
with the current user. This will allow se_access_check() to quickly do a SD check without having to translate uid/gid's to SIDs. Still needs work on pipe calls. Jeremy. (This used to be commit e28d01b744b3dbd33e0e54af4e7f426fa8c082b8)
2000-06-01Getting back to a compilable state (not there yet but close).Jeremy Allison1-0/+3
Added patches for random -> sys_random. Added set_effective_xxx patches for AFS code. Memory allocation changes in spoolss code. Jeremy. (This used to be commit c2099cfb033c2cdb6035f4f7f50ce21b98e1584d)
2000-05-10more merging voodooAndrew Tridgell1-0/+4
this adds "#define OLD_NTDOMAIN 1" in lots of places. Don't panic - this isn't permanent, it should go after another few merge steps have been done (This used to be commit 92109d7b3c06f240452d39f669ecb8c9c86ab610)
2000-05-06fixed a vfs crash bugAndrew Tridgell1-6/+4
(This used to be commit 76da586396c85b6614579b9234eec34f57c12ffe)
2000-04-28Moved deletion of vfs handle into smbd/conn.c as it was being done tooJeremy Allison1-0/+15
soon in smbd/service.c (file operations were being done after the handle was closed). It looks cleaner in smbd/conn.c as it is part of the closing of a conn struct anyway. Jeremy. (This used to be commit 858eb53dc510d1b27c4f91045fa932a3ef546754)
2000-01-16use string_set() instead of string_init()Andrew Tridgell1-4/+4
bug pointed out by Richard (This used to be commit 070f49397ff24e4d6ba7c2c1cfaef2dfa0944bd0)
1998-09-05some cleanups to use ZERO_STRUCT() and friendsAndrew Tridgell1-2/+2
(This used to be commit 7b154dc4313324dfad6cf0117b8ce246bf12bf16)
1998-08-17added some optimisation for the case where the number of open files isAndrew Tridgell1-17/+10
very large. files.c now promotes a files_struct to the top of the list if it is used when it is more than 10 elements from the top. also moved common linked list code for the 5 sets of linked lists that I've created over the past few days into dlinklist.h (I've explained to Chris why I didn't use the ubiqx code) (This used to be commit 1eb9ae2996b5a243a147f485e7e353d54f820852)
1998-08-17moved connection_struct handling code into smbd/conn.c and changed itAndrew Tridgell1-0/+196
to a linked list with bitmap format. (This used to be commit b7aaab1b6b2d2f72b2bb7c11f5c7bf081a6093d9)
