2009-04-30Get medieval on our ass about SMB1 file descriptors being 16 bits, not an int.Jeremy Allison1-19/+14
Convert all uses of cli_open(), cli_nt_createXXX to NTSTATUS versions. This is smaller than it looks, it just fixes a lot of old code. Next up, ensure all cli_XX functions return NTSTATUS. Jeremy.
2009-03-17Remove the global "struct cm_cred_struct" and associated calls, makeJeremy Allison1-6/+1
callers pass in a struct user_auth_info * instead. This commit causes smbc_set_credentials() to print out a message telling callers to use smbc_set_credentials_with_fallback() instead, as smbc_set_credentials() has a broken API (no SMBCCTX * pointer). No more global variables used in the connection manager API for client dfs calls. Jeremy.
2009-01-30Make cli_tcon_andx asyncVolker Lendecke1-4/+6
2008-12-14Remove the global "cmdline_auth_info" from source3/lib/util.cVolker Lendecke1-13/+21
This involves changing all our clients, that's why it's so large.

2008-10-14Attempt to fix bug #5818 - "smbcacls: sorts ACEs improperly and loses ↵Jeremy Allison1-26/+157
inheritance", based on a patch from Paul Fertser <fercerpav@gmail.com>. I also added the ability to get/set hex and symbolic inheritance flag names on ACE flags. I'm still investigating the effects of setting the "SEC_DESC_DACL_AUTO_INHERIT_REQ" flag as I don't yet see what effects this is having on the ACE sent. Jeremy.
2008-10-09Remove SEC_ACCESS. It's a uint32_t.Jeremy Allison1-1/+1

2007-11-15More pstring removal. This one was tricky. I had to addJeremy Allison1-2/+1
one horror (pstring_clean_name()) which will have to remain until I've removed all pstrings from the client code. Jeremy. (This used to be commit 1ea3ac80146b83c2522b69e7747c823366a2b47d)

2007-10-27Change all occurrences of zero_addr(&ss,AF_INET) toJeremy Allison1-1/+1
zero_addr(&ss). All current uses were always of the AF_INET form, so simplify the call. If in the future we need to zero an addr to AF_INET6 this can be done separately. Jeremy. (This used to be commit 2e92418a138bf2738b77b7e0fcb2fa37ad84fc0c)
2007-10-24This is a large patch (sorry). Migrate from struct in_addrJeremy Allison1-7/+8
to struct sockaddr_storage in most places that matter (ie. not the nmbd and NetBIOS lookups). This passes make test on an IPv4 box, but I'll have to do more work/testing on IPv6 enabled boxes. This should now give us a framework for testing and finishing the IPv6 migration. It's at the state where someone with a working IPv6 setup should (theorecically) be able to type : smbclient //ipv6-address/share and have it work. Jeremy. (This used to be commit 98e154c3125d5732c37a72d74b0eb5cd7b6155fd)
2007-10-19Fix the popt / bool issues. Some places we used BOOLJeremy Allison1-1/+1
where we meant int. Fix this. Thanks to metze for pointing this out. Jeremy. (This used to be commit 793a9d24a163cb6cf5a3a0aa5ae30e9f8cf4744a)
2007-10-18RIP BOOL. Convert BOOL -> bool. I found a few interestingJeremy Allison1-10/+10
bugs in various places whilst doing this (places that assumed BOOL == int). I also need to fix the Samba4 pidl generation (next checkin). Jeremy. (This used to be commit f35a266b3cbb3e5fa6a86be60f34fe340a3ca71f)
2007-10-10Add start of IPv6 implementation. Currently most of this is avoidingJeremy Allison1-1/+1
IPv6 in winbindd, but moves most of the socket functions that were wrongly in lib/util.c into lib/util_sock.c and provides generic IPv4/6 independent versions of most things. Still lots of work to do, but now I can see how I'll fix the access check code. Nasty part that remains is the name resolution code which is used to returning arrays of in_addr structs. Jeremy. (This used to be commit 3f6bd0e1ec5cc6670f3d08f76fc2cd94c9cd1a08)

* autogenerate lsa ndr code * rename 'enum SID_NAME_USE' to 'enum lsa_SidType' * merge a log more security descriptor functions from gen_ndr/ndr_security.c in SAMBA_4_0 The most embarassing thing is the "#define strlen_m strlen" We need a real implementation in SAMBA_3_0 which I'll work on after this code is in. lp_load() could not be called multiple times to modify parameter settings based on reading from multiple configuration settings. Each time, it initialized all of the settings back to their defaults before reading the specified configuration file. This patch adds a parameter to lp_load() specifying whether the settings should be initialized. It does, however, still force the settings to be initialized the first time, even if the request was to not initialize them. (Not doing so could wreak havoc due to uninitialized values.)
