2009-11-07torture/basic/denytest - makes the code more compatible for TRU64 (consider ↵Matthias Dieter Wallnöfer1-10/+14
buildfarm)
2009-10-20s4-torture: ran minimal_includes.pl over source4/tortureAndrew Tridgell1-4/+0
This reduces compile time somewhat.
2009-10-17s4-torture: cleanup after the MAXIMUM_ALLOWED testAndrew Tridgell1-0/+1
2009-10-17s4-torture: add a special check for administrators and privilegesAndrew Tridgell1-6/+6
lsa privileges calls don't expand groups. darn.
2009-10-17s4-torture: show the sid we are basing privilege tests onAndrew Tridgell1-2/+6
2009-10-16s4-torture: take privileges into account in BASE-MAXIMUM_ALLOWEDAndrew Tridgell1-10/+48
The correct answer depends on the users privileges.
2009-10-15s4-smb: declare root_fid as a file handleAndrew Tridgell1-7/+7
In order to implement root_fid in the s4 SMB server we need to declare it as a handle type, just as for other fnum values in SMB. This required some extensive (but simple) changes in many bits of code.
2009-10-06s4/torture: Add server target of OneFSSteven Danneman1-0/+23
I've added a "--target=onefs" which lists expected deviation in the OneFS SMB server implementation compared to a Windows machine. I've added this in a generic way using a list of module specific parameters. This list currently only contains the absence of SACL support but will be added to as additional server differences are defined. I'd liked to use this abstraction for defining the differences between a WinXP and Win7 server as well.
2009-10-06s4/torture: Add SMB sharemode/access mask testsAravind Srinivasan1-0/+681
Test several thousand permutations of create mask and sharemodes on file and directory opens. These tests use a checked-in results table derived from a WinXP server to verify correct server behavior. CREATEX_ACCESS CREATEX_SHAREMODES_FILE CREATEX_SHAREMODES_DIR MAXIMUM_ALLOWED
2009-10-06s4/torture: change comments to torture_failuresAravind Srinivasan1-2/+4
This allows the frameworks that wrap smbtorture to detect errors better.

(This used to be commit b28860978fe29c5b10abfb8c59d7182864e21dd6)
2007-10-10r19339: Merge my 4.0-unittest branch. This adds an API for more fine-grainedJelmer Vernooij1-107/+50
output in the testsuite rather than just True or False for a set of tests. The aim is to use this for: * known failure lists (run all tests and detect tests that started working or started failing). This would allow us to get rid of the RPC-SAMBA3-* tests * nicer torture output * simplification of the testsuite system * compatibility with other unit testing systems * easier usage of smbtorture (being able to run one test and automatically set up the environment for that) This is still a work-in-progress; expect more updates over the next couple of days. (This used to be commit 0eb6097305776325c75081356309115f445a7218)
2007-10-10r16907: Add an index parameter to torture_open_connection. Next step is to ↵Volker Lendecke1-7/+8

2007-10-10r14256: - rename smb_file -> smb_handleStefan Metzmacher1-15/+15
- move it into the in/out substructs again - allow file.path only on smb_fileinfo/smb_setfileinfo metze (This used to be commit be6d5298a2cdb7e7c61d70471bad445645af5963)
2007-10-10r14208: removed use of req->flags2 inside the ntvfs layer. This should helpAndrew Tridgell1-8/+22
metze on his quest to unify the ntvfs strucures for the smb and smb2 servers. The only place we needed flags2 inside ntvfs was for the FLAGS2_READ_PERMIT_EXECUTE bit, which only affects readx, so I added a readx.in.read_for_execute flag instead. (This used to be commit b78abbbce60ab0009da19a72dd769800c44298a2)
2007-10-10r14173: change smb interface structures to always useStefan Metzmacher1-12/+12
a union smb_file, to abtract - const char *path fot qpathinfo and setpathinfo - uint16_t fnum for SMB - smb2_handle handle for SMB2 the idea is to later add a struct ntvfs_handle *ntvfs so that the ntvfs subsystem don't need to know the difference between SMB and SMB2 metze (This used to be commit 2ef3f5970901b5accdb50f0d0115b5d46b0c788f)
2007-10-10r12694: Move some headers to the directory of the subsystem they belong to.Jelmer Vernooij1-0/+1

2007-10-10r9047: show the order of the server/correct output to make it easier to demo ↵Andrew Tridgell1-0/+2
this test ;) (This used to be commit 73ba1a8e3823330c6889d626e8e4fb392ebcab8a)
2007-10-10r8520: fixed a pile of warnings from the build farm gcc -Wall output onAndrew Tridgell1-1/+1
S390. This is an attempt to avoid the panic we're seeing in the automatic builds. The main fixes are: - assumptions that sizeof(size_t) == sizeof(int), mostly in printf formats - use of NULL format statements to perform dn searches. - assumption that sizeof() returns an int (This used to be commit a58ea6b3854973b694d2b1e22323ed7eb00e3a3f)
2007-10-10r5298: - got rid of pstring.h from includes.h. This at least makes it a bitAndrew Tridgell1-0/+1
less likely that anyone will use pstring for new code - got rid of winbind_client.h from includes.h. This one triggered a huge change, as winbind_client.h was including system/filesys.h and defining the old uint32 and uint16 types, as well as its own pstring and fstring. (This used to be commit 9db6c79e902ec538108d6b7d3324039aabe1704f)
2007-10-10r4547: - added talloc_new(ctx) macro that is a neater form of the common ↵Andrew Tridgell1-2/+2
talloc(ctx, 0) call. - cleaned up some talloc usage in various files I'd like to get to the point that we have no calls to talloc(), at which point we will rename talloc_p() to talloc(), to encourage everyone to use the typesafe functions. (This used to be commit e6c81d7c9f8a6938947d3c1c8a971a0d6d50b67a)
2007-10-10r4063: - change char * -> uint8_t in struct request_bufferStefan Metzmacher1-9/+9
- change smbcli_read/write to take void * for the buffers to match read(2)/write(2) all this fixes a lot of gcc-4 warnings metze (This used to be commit b94f92bc6637f748d6f7049f4f9a30b0b8d18a7a)
2007-10-10r4037: fixed a bunch of "might be uninitialised" warnings after enabling -O1 ↵Andrew Tridgell1-1/+1
in my compile (This used to be commit 0928b1f5b68c858922c3ea6c27ed03b5091c6221)
2007-10-10r4011: get rid of rpc_secdes.h and replace it with a single sane set ofAndrew Tridgell1-23/+28
definitions for security access masks, in security.idl The previous definitions were inconsistently named, and contained many duplicate and misleading entries. I kept finding myself tripping up while using them. (This used to be commit 01c0fa722f80ceeb3f81f01987de95f365a2ed3d)
2007-10-10r3608: added BASE-DENYDOS testAndrew Tridgell1-0/+125
this test demonstrates how w2k3 handles the special semantics of DENY_DOS when 2 opens happen on the same connection. The 2nd open doesn't actually do a NTFS open, it happens as a secondary reference to the same internal file handle in the CIFS layer. The evidence is that the 2nd open shares the same POSITION_INFORMATION field as the first open, but only for the special DENY_DOS cases that would normally be refused. (This used to be commit eeec57d4f6d18a40e0ce451bfe051b3f699e8337)
2007-10-10r3419: moved the libcli/raw structures into libcli/raw/libcliraw.hAndrew Tridgell1-0/+1
and made them private (This used to be commit 386ac565c452ede1d74e06acb401ca9db99d3ff3)
2007-10-10r3400: - allow callers to control the flags2 field in raw packetsAndrew Tridgell1-2/+13
- added testing of the FLAGS2_READ_PERMIT_EXECUTE bit in the ntdeny tests (This used to be commit adf4a682705871186f3b77ea6d417942445fc5d3)
2007-10-10r3387: fixed pvfs to pass the NTDENY tests. The tricky bit wasAndrew Tridgell1-10/+12
SA_RIGHT_FILE_EXECUTE, which depends on a flags2 bit (This used to be commit c36851d230bcf552ed79322f8358060ab164ec09)
2007-10-10r3386: - fixed --seed option in smbtortureAndrew Tridgell1-1/+272
- added new tests BASE-NTDENY1 and BASE-NTDENY2. These are the ntcreatex equivalents of the BASE-DENY1 and BASE-DENY2 tests. Unfortunately, with ntcreatex there are 4 million combination and trying each one takes 1 second, so randomised testing is the only choice. The BASE-DENY1 test can operate in parallel with hundreds of connections, speeding things up a bit (as most time is spent waiting 1 second for a sharing violation to come back) (This used to be commit b95493d3d16581b8dd8f4727cd10631c18e16748)
2007-10-10r3324: made the smbtorture code completely warning freeAndrew Tridgell1-3/+3
(This used to be commit 7067bb9b52223cafa28470f264f0b60646a07a01)
2007-10-10r3203: moved more test functions into torture/basic/*.cAndrew Tridgell1-0/+50
the idea is that torture/torture.c should eventually be just the harness code, which will make it easier to read (This used to be commit eca85d26ed744563d1bbb8dd10a819d39fdc495b)
2007-10-10r3148: make --failures work for the BASE-DENY1 and BASE-DENY2 testsAndrew Tridgell1-11/+20
(This used to be commit 6e87feb89c57ca900ef4125e48f5de5ff80ff7b9)
2007-10-10r2551: Add const.Andrew Bartlett1-2/+2
Andrew Bartlett (This used to be commit 066789a479ed7b36041e3455caac01e5c9244dc0)
2007-10-10r1654: rename cli_ -> smbcli_Stefan Metzmacher1-24/+24
rename CLI_ -> SMBCLI_ metze (This used to be commit 8441750fd9427dd6fe477f27e603821b4026f038)
2007-10-10r1228: use int64_t instead of long longStefan Metzmacher1-2/+2
(jra: please use: void, char int, uint_t, [u]int<8|16|32|64>_t types in new code) metze (This used to be commit 626bb153c45405f93a96bc5019241af506fac163)
2007-10-10r1086: Add defer open test to check timeout on sharing violation open.Jeremy Allison1-2/+18
This has found some signing errors in the Samba3.0 implementation of the deferred open code. Still working on these... Jeremy (This used to be commit 0068cb12ef91515a95f17a1be7dfbc83fbb89eba)
2007-10-10r962: convert 'unsigned' and 'unsigned int' to uint_tStefan Metzmacher1-1/+1
metze (This used to be commit 57151e80eb1090281401930c8fe25b20a8cf3a38)
2004-03-26- moved some of the base tests into torture/basic/Andrew Tridgell1-0/+1578
- added a CHARSET set of tests, which determines how the server deals with some specific charset issues related to UTF-16 support. Interestingly, Samba3 already passes all but one of these tests, because our incorrect UCS-2 and UTF-8 implementations where we don't check the validity of characters actually matches what Windows does! This means that adding UTF-16 support to Samba is going to be _much_ easier than we expected. (This used to be commit c8497a42364d186f08102224d5062d176ee81f5b)
