2007-10-10r23792: convert Samba4 to GPLv3Andrew Tridgell1-3/+2
There are still a few tidyups of old FSF addresses to come (in both s3 and s4). More commits soon. (This used to be commit fcf38a38ac691abd0fa51b89dc951a08e89fdafa)
2007-10-10r20078: support the large samba3 reads in RAW-READ testAndrew Tridgell1-4/+14
(This used to be commit a4c2a575faf6a20174730524a8b2878eb9fdb50d)
2007-10-10r20059: james was asking about CAP_LARGE_READX and reads close to the 64kAndrew Tridgell1-0/+20
boundary. This test shows that both for Samba4 and w2k3, reads larger than or equal to 64k don't work (return zero bytes). Not that I claim this is very useful behaviour :-) (This used to be commit a10fa12ff5657a96e41b309558786780f294a75f)
2007-10-10r19506: fixed remaining parts of RAW-READ and RAW-WRITE tests to check forAndrew Tridgell1-36/+46
CAP_LARGE_FILES (This used to be commit 66bebb210550793d0e7fe1b6a03a5140455ae72f)
2007-10-10r19504: - fixed a free error in file_lines_parseAndrew Tridgell1-0/+5
- added a function to test for large file support - enable CAP_LARGE_FILES only if the test passes - don't test at large offsets if the server doesn't set CAP_LARGE_FILES (This used to be commit c5423ea22bdaa055807d4e6f7ac4be934194fe45)
2007-10-10r19392: Use torture_setting_* rather than lp_parm_* where possible.Jelmer Vernooij1-1/+1
(This used to be commit b28860978fe29c5b10abfb8c59d7182864e21dd6)
2007-10-10r18301: I discovered how to load the warnings from a build farm build intoAndrew Tridgell1-1/+1
emacs compile mode (hint, paste to a file, and compile as "cat filename"). This allowed me to fix nearly all the warnings for a IA_64 SuSE build very quickly. (This used to be commit eba6c84efff735bb0ca941ac4b755ce2b0591667)
2007-10-10r16907: Add an index parameter to torture_open_connection. Next step is to ↵Volker Lendecke1-1/+1
enable the unclist parameter for all tests that do two connections, to enable cluster testing. Volker (This used to be commit a5d6db09244d444986f8fded3fc6e72c74c8ca1f)
2007-10-10r15685: let samba3 pass RAW-READ and ignore one bugStefan Metzmacher1-1/+6
this demonstrates how the target:samba3=yes option passed in samba3's make test can be used in samba4's smbtorture metze (This used to be commit 856656739c8765f9591ff7982b8a708a34d4a1d1)
2007-10-10r15122: test what access masks are needed when using the ↵Stefan Metzmacher1-15/+159
FLAGS2_READ_PERMIT_EXECUTE flag. metze (This used to be commit d298e4760c1edf49f3c935304b466ba04989c32b)

(This used to be commit 3c7a5ce29108dd82210dc3e1f00414f545949e1d)
2007-10-10r14527: Fix build problems.Jelmer Vernooij1-0/+1
(This used to be commit 863ca4014d9b821706ee90f58ab5d5cf3899a4c7)
2007-10-10r14256: - rename smb_file -> smb_handleStefan Metzmacher1-16/+16
- move it into the in/out substructs again - allow file.path only on smb_fileinfo/smb_setfileinfo metze (This used to be commit be6d5298a2cdb7e7c61d70471bad445645af5963)
2007-10-10r14208: removed use of req->flags2 inside the ntvfs layer. This should helpAndrew Tridgell1-0/+2
metze on his quest to unify the ntvfs strucures for the smb and smb2 servers. The only place we needed flags2 inside ntvfs was for the FLAGS2_READ_PERMIT_EXECUTE bit, which only affects readx, so I added a readx.in.read_for_execute flag instead. (This used to be commit b78abbbce60ab0009da19a72dd769800c44298a2)
2007-10-10r14173: change smb interface structures to always useStefan Metzmacher1-16/+16
a union smb_file, to abtract - const char *path fot qpathinfo and setpathinfo - uint16_t fnum for SMB - smb2_handle handle for SMB2 the idea is to later add a struct ntvfs_handle *ntvfs so that the ntvfs subsystem don't need to know the difference between SMB and SMB2 metze (This used to be commit 2ef3f5970901b5accdb50f0d0115b5d46b0c788f)
2007-10-10r12694: Move some headers to the directory of the subsystem they belong to.Jelmer Vernooij1-0/+1
(This used to be commit c722f665c90103f3ed57621c460e32ad33e7a8a3)

torture prototypes in seperate header (This used to be commit 73610639b23ca3743077193fa0b1de7c7f65944d)
2007-10-10r9876: Fix some 64-bit warnings for Itanium machine.Tim Potter1-2/+2
(This used to be commit 9e375d82e828879704442e5a27a9938015953de2)
2007-10-10r5298: - got rid of pstring.h from includes.h. This at least makes it a bitAndrew Tridgell1-0/+1
less likely that anyone will use pstring for new code - got rid of winbind_client.h from includes.h. This one triggered a huge change, as winbind_client.h was including system/filesys.h and defining the old uint32 and uint16 types, as well as its own pstring and fstring. (This used to be commit 9db6c79e902ec538108d6b7d3324039aabe1704f)
2007-10-10r5037: got rid of all of the TALLOC_DEPRECATED stuff. My apologies for theAndrew Tridgell1-1/+1
large commit. I thought this was worthwhile to get done for consistency. (This used to be commit ec32b22ed5ec224f6324f5e069d15e92e38e15c0)
2007-10-10r4591: - converted the other _p talloc functions to not need _pAndrew Tridgell1-4/+4
- added #if TALLOC_DEPRECATED around the _p functions - fixes the code that broke from the above while doing this I fixed quite a number of places that were incorrectly using the non type-safe talloc functions to use the type safe ones. Some were even doing multiplies for array allocation, which is potentially unsafe. (This used to be commit 6e7754abd0c225527fb38363996a6e241b87b37e)
2007-10-10r4063: - change char * -> uint8_t in struct request_bufferStefan Metzmacher1-7/+7
- change smbcli_read/write to take void * for the buffers to match read(2)/write(2) all this fixes a lot of gcc-4 warnings metze (This used to be commit b94f92bc6637f748d6f7049f4f9a30b0b8d18a7a)
2007-10-10r3699: - split the delayed write testing out of RAW-WRITE, as it is not yetAndrew Tridgell1-12/+4
clear what the correct behaviour is for delayed stat info update. - use a common torture_setup_dir() function for setting up a test directory in torture tests. (This used to be commit f7fb34715b7d6ea3c35ddd684cfb27459a420339)
2007-10-10r3447: more include/system/XXX.h include filesAndrew Tridgell1-0/+1
(This used to be commit 264ce9181089922547e8f6f67116f2d7277a5105)
2007-10-10r3419: moved the libcli/raw structures into libcli/raw/libcliraw.hAndrew Tridgell1-0/+1
and made them private (This used to be commit 386ac565c452ede1d74e06acb401ca9db99d3ff3)
2007-10-10r3324: made the smbtorture code completely warning freeAndrew Tridgell1-1/+1
(This used to be commit 7067bb9b52223cafa28470f264f0b60646a07a01)
2007-10-10r3242: make the RAW-READ test not exercise the 0-0 lock, which is not ↵Andrew Tridgell1-4/+6
deterministic (This used to be commit ecd4e315b99a0f2aa021937308c7b93c33efbd93)
2007-10-10r3235: try readx beyond 64k in RAW-READAndrew Tridgell1-6/+17
(This used to be commit e07c557eca19c0dc17473090bde45c27953aaf65)

rename CLI_ -> SMBCLI_ metze (This used to be commit 8441750fd9427dd6fe477f27e603821b4026f038)
2007-10-10r962: convert 'unsigned' and 'unsigned int' to uint_tStefan Metzmacher1-6/+6
metze (This used to be commit 57151e80eb1090281401930c8fe25b20a8cf3a38)
2007-10-10r873: converted samba4 to use real 64 bit integers instead ofAndrew Tridgell1-6/+2
structures. This was suggested by metze recently. I checked on the build farm and all the machines we have support 64 bit ints, and support the LL suffix for 64 bit constants. I suspect some won't support strtoll() and related functions, so we will probably need replacements for those. (This used to be commit 9a9244a1c66654c12abe4379661cba83a73c4c21)
2004-02-10Convert libcli routines to return NTSTATUS instead of BOOL. Again, theTim Potter1-9/+9
only users are smbclient and smbtorture. (This used to be commit 54cb508c78e5c1faa3ade46b46b165983c880d10)
2004-02-08Convert libcli routines to use cli_tree instead of cli_state. PortTim Potter1-45/+45
smbtorture to use the new interface. Part 2 will be to eliminate cli_state from smbtorture as this is now the only place where it is used. (This used to be commit db1cc96af62ea42837d60592877fc3f93cef143b)
2003-08-29expanded the RAW-READ test to make it clearer that all locks conflictAndrew Tridgell1-1/+7
in SMBlockread, not just other peoples locks (error in spec) (This used to be commit a56f6896bfc00222b12be3d0bb06f99144f2d23d)
2003-08-13- cope with servers that don't properly implement SMBexitAndrew Tridgell1-0/+1
- add the pidhigh test to the locking test - expand the rename and unlink testing - test a wider range of offsets in RAW-READ (This used to be commit ef819249ec9849b4609f82a5c882e40c96a51fa2)
2003-08-13first public release of samba4 codeAndrew Tridgell1-0/+732
