- added a function to test for large file support - enable CAP_LARGE_FILES only if the test passes - don't test at large offsets if the server doesn't set CAP_LARGE_FILES (This used to be commit c5423ea22bdaa055807d4e6f7ac4be934194fe45)

2007-10-10r14256: - rename smb_file -> smb_handleStefan Metzmacher1-19/+19
- move it into the in/out substructs again - allow file.path only on smb_fileinfo/smb_setfileinfo metze (This used to be commit be6d5298a2cdb7e7c61d70471bad445645af5963)
2007-10-10r14173: change smb interface structures to always useStefan Metzmacher1-19/+19
a union smb_file, to abtract - const char *path fot qpathinfo and setpathinfo - uint16_t fnum for SMB - smb2_handle handle for SMB2 the idea is to later add a struct ntvfs_handle *ntvfs so that the ntvfs subsystem don't need to know the difference between SMB and SMB2 metze (This used to be commit 2ef3f5970901b5accdb50f0d0115b5d46b0c788f)
2007-10-10r12694: Move some headers to the directory of the subsystem they belong to.Jelmer Vernooij1-0/+1

2007-10-10r8491: lower the offset limit that filesystems need to support to pass ↵Andrew Tridgell1-1/+1
RAW-WRITE to 2^33 (This used to be commit e499b1abaeee00366ccd2e5b1acbe18d48e77466)
2007-10-10r5298: - got rid of pstring.h from includes.h. This at least makes it a bitAndrew Tridgell1-0/+1
less likely that anyone will use pstring for new code - got rid of winbind_client.h from includes.h. This one triggered a huge change, as winbind_client.h was including system/filesys.h and defining the old uint32 and uint16 types, as well as its own pstring and fstring. (This used to be commit 9db6c79e902ec538108d6b7d3324039aabe1704f)
2007-10-10r5037: got rid of all of the TALLOC_DEPRECATED stuff. My apologies for theAndrew Tridgell1-1/+1
large commit. I thought this was worthwhile to get done for consistency. (This used to be commit ec32b22ed5ec224f6324f5e069d15e92e38e15c0)
2007-10-10r4591: - converted the other _p talloc functions to not need _pAndrew Tridgell1-4/+4
- added #if TALLOC_DEPRECATED around the _p functions - fixes the code that broke from the above while doing this I fixed quite a number of places that were incorrectly using the non type-safe talloc functions to use the type safe ones. Some were even doing multiplies for array allocation, which is potentially unsafe. (This used to be commit 6e7754abd0c225527fb38363996a6e241b87b37e)
2007-10-10r4063: - change char * -> uint8_t in struct request_bufferStefan Metzmacher1-7/+7
- change smbcli_read/write to take void * for the buffers to match read(2)/write(2) all this fixes a lot of gcc-4 warnings metze (This used to be commit b94f92bc6637f748d6f7049f4f9a30b0b8d18a7a)
2007-10-10r3699: - split the delayed write testing out of RAW-WRITE, as it is not yetAndrew Tridgell1-250/+5
clear what the correct behaviour is for delayed stat info update. - use a common torture_setup_dir() function for setting up a test directory in torture tests. (This used to be commit f7fb34715b7d6ea3c35ddd684cfb27459a420339)
2007-10-10r3447: more include/system/XXX.h include filesAndrew Tridgell1-0/+1

(This used to be commit 7067bb9b52223cafa28470f264f0b60646a07a01)
2007-10-10r3251: - move the openattr test code into basic/attr.cAndrew Tridgell1-113/+111
- cleaned up the RAW-WRITE test so it passes against w2k3, and gives more useful error messages (This used to be commit d4042c4364b571b9425e1706fc765376160c8a60)
2007-10-10r3085: make the RAW-WRITE tests more robust to errors in previous parts of ↵Andrew Tridgell1-19/+19
the test (This used to be commit 6ea815b6d426d37723a200226cb5f7236a13017f)

after 2 minutes (This used to be commit b2298a1c5f0330a262ac855479060fd677fe8059)
2007-10-10r2982: added a test that shows the amount of time a server takes to updateAndrew Tridgell1-0/+84
the write time on a file after a write. (This used to be commit efee3c90f90b1e9dd3351933d27fe8a085c3657f)
2007-10-10r2912: Test for the sort-of weird file stamp semantics. The last_write seems ↵Volker Lendecke1-54/+92
to be updated only by an arbitrary close() after the file was actually written to. Volker (This used to be commit ab52ebfdccc65ca510d74ce8e0205b45b58550ef)
2007-10-10r2895: Another nut to crack, not sure how hard: The statinfo on a file does ↵Volker Lendecke1-0/+103
obviously not change during a write. The nasty thing: Excel 2003 obviosly does depend on this. Volker (This used to be commit 8e26775134671114425ce1ecf7a22bad4e763d1f)
2007-10-10r1654: rename cli_ -> smbcli_Stefan Metzmacher1-56/+56

2007-10-10r962: convert 'unsigned' and 'unsigned int' to uint_tStefan Metzmacher1-6/+6
metze (This used to be commit 57151e80eb1090281401930c8fe25b20a8cf3a38)
2007-10-10r873: converted samba4 to use real 64 bit integers instead ofAndrew Tridgell1-6/+6
structures. This was suggested by metze recently. I checked on the build farm and all the machines we have support 64 bit ints, and support the LL suffix for 64 bit constants. I suspect some won't support strtoll() and related functions, so we will probably need replacements for those. (This used to be commit 9a9244a1c66654c12abe4379661cba83a73c4c21)
2004-02-10Convert libcli routines to return NTSTATUS instead of BOOL. Again, theTim Potter1-5/+5
only users are smbclient and smbtorture. (This used to be commit 54cb508c78e5c1faa3ade46b46b165983c880d10)
2004-02-08Convert libcli routines to use cli_tree instead of cli_state. PortTim Potter1-51/+51
smbtorture to use the new interface. Part 2 will be to eliminate cli_state from smbtorture as this is now the only place where it is used. (This used to be commit db1cc96af62ea42837d60592877fc3f93cef143b)
2003-08-13- cope with servers that don't properly implement SMBexitAndrew Tridgell1-18/+24
- add the pidhigh test to the locking test - expand the rename and unlink testing - test a wider range of offsets in RAW-READ (This used to be commit ef819249ec9849b4609f82a5c882e40c96a51fa2)
2003-08-13first public release of samba4 codeAndrew Tridgell1-0/+702
