2007-10-10r12510: Change the DCE/RPC interfaces to take a pointer to aJelmer Vernooij1-3/+1
dcerpc_interface_table struct rather then a tuple of interface name, UUID and version. This removes the requirement for having a global list of DCE/RPC interfaces, except for these parts of the code that use that list explicitly (ndrdump and the scanner torture test). This should also allow us to remove the hack that put the authservice parameter in the dcerpc_binding struct as it can now be read directly from dcerpc_interface_table. I will now modify some of these functions to take a dcerpc_syntax_id structure rather then a full dcerpc_interface_table. (This used to be commit 8aae0f168e54c01d0866ad6e0da141dbd828574f)
2007-10-10r11407: Push 'recreate account' logic into libnet/libnet_join.c. We don'tAndrew Bartlett1-15/+0

2007-10-10r11406: Clean up uninitialised value warnings found by -01.Andrew Bartlett1-23/+17
The warnings were caused by the structure assignements, which we don't need to do. The actual values are filled in by the NDR layer later. Andrew Bartlett (This used to be commit f140117535c3281f0a0a7970ea4127498737d112)

2007-10-10r10486: This is a merge of Brad Henry's 'net join' rework, to better performAndrew Bartlett1-14/+135
an ADS join, particularly as a DC. This represents the bulk of his Google SOC work, and I'm very pleased to intergrate it into the tree. (Metze will intergrate the DRSUAPI work later). Both metze and myself have also put a lot of time into this patch, and in mentoring Brad in general. In return, Brad has been a very good student, and has taken the comments well. Since it's last appearance on samba-technical@, I have made correctness and valgrind fixups, as well as adding a new 'BINDING' mode to the libnet_rpc routines. This allows the exact binding string to be passed down from the torture code, including options and exact target host. 2007-10-10r5941: Commit this patch much earlier than I would normally prefer, but ↵Andrew Bartlett1-5/+2
metze needs a working tree... The main volume of this patch was what I started working on today: - Cleans up memory handling around DCE/RPC pipes, to have a parent talloc context. - Uses sepereate inner loops for some of the DCE/RPC tests The other and more important part of this patch fixes issues surrounding the new credentials framwork: This makes the struct cli_credentials always a talloc() structure, rather than on the stack. Parts of the cli_credentials code already assumed this. There were other issues, particularly in the DCERPC over SMB handling, as well as little things that had to be tidied up before test_w2k3.sh would start to pass. Andrew Bartlett (This used to be commit 0453f9d05d2e336fba1f85dbf2718d01fa2bf778)
2007-10-10r5902: A rather large change...Andrew Bartlett1-1/+5
I wanted to add a simple 'workstation' argument to the DCERPC authenticated binding calls, but this patch kind of grew from there. With SCHANNEL, the 'workstation' name (the netbios name of the client) matters, as this is what ties the session between the NETLOGON ops and the SCHANNEL bind. This changes a lot of files, and these will again be changed when jelmer does the credentials work. I also correct some schannel IDL to distinguish between workstation names and account names. The distinction matters for domain trust accounts. Issues in handling this (issues with lifetime of talloc pointers) caused me to change the 'creds_CredentialsState' and 'struct dcerpc_binding' pointers to always be talloc()ed pointers. In the schannel DB, we now store both the domain and computername, and query on both. This should ensure we fault correctly when the domain is specified incorrectly in the SCHANNEL bind. In the RPC-SCHANNEL test, I finally fixed a bug that vl pointed out, where the comment claimed we re-used a connection, but in fact we made a new connection. This was achived by breaking apart some of the dcerpc_secondary_connection() logic. The addition of workstation handling was also propogated to NTLMSSP and GENSEC, for completeness. The RPC-SAMSYNC test has been cleaned up a little, using a loop over usernames/passwords rather than manually expanded tests. This will be expanded further (the code in #if 0 in this patch) to use a newly created user account for testing. In making this test pass test_rpc.sh, I found a bug in the RPC-ECHO server, caused by the removal of [ref] and the assoicated pointer from the IDL. This has been re-added, until the underlying pidl issues are solved. (This used to be commit 824289dcc20908ddec957a4a892a103eec2da9b9)
2007-10-10r5876: Add a test account for the duration of the samsync - to ensure we haveAndrew Bartlett1-18/+50
a good variety of things to test against. Add code to testjoin to handle this just like test machine accounts Soon I'll remove the 'must change password' flag, so we can do logins with it. Andrew Bartlett (This used to be commit 08b47e2dc067f7e4a52b982d358ff1b0209cc1df)

2007-10-10r5037: got rid of all of the TALLOC_DEPRECATED stuff. My apologies for theAndrew Tridgell1-2/+2
large commit. I thought this was worthwhile to get done for consistency. (This used to be commit ec32b22ed5ec224f6324f5e069d15e92e38e15c0)
2007-10-10r4035: more effort on consistent naming of the access mask bits.Andrew Tridgell1-4/+4
This removes the duplicate named SEC_RIGHTS_MAXIMUM_ALLOWED and SEC_RIGHTS_FULL_CONTROL, which are just other names for SEC_FLAG_MAXIMUM_ALLOWED and SEC_RIGHTS_FILE_ALL. The latter names match the new naming conventions in security.idl Also added names for the generic->specific mappings for files are directories (This used to be commit 17a4e0b3aca227b40957ed1e0c57e498debc6ddf)

2007-10-10r3804: Add more comparison tests in RPC-SAMSYNC.Andrew Bartlett1-1/+1
This compares values for the domain and for secrets. We still have some problems we need to sort out for secrets. Also rename a number of structures in samr.idl and netlogon.idl, to better express their consistancy. Andrew Bartlett (This used to be commit 3f52fa3a42b030c9aef21c8bd88aad87a0aae078)
2007-10-10r3724: Rename a number of structures, for better consistance between SAMR andAndrew Bartlett1-6/+11
NETLOGON. In particular, rename samr_Name to samr_String - given that many strings in this pipe are not 'names', the previous was just confusing. (I look forward to PIDL turning these into simple char * some day...). Also export out a few changes from testjoin.c to allow for how I have written the new RPC-SAMSYNC test. Andrew Bartlett (This used to be commit 9cd666bcfb1fc752a4717010a7c4f05131dc728e)
2007-10-10r3677: Seperate the SamLogon tests from the main RPC-NETLOGON test into aAndrew Bartlett1-14/+13
RPC-SAMLOGON of their own. I have expanded the tests to validate the use of various flags, which change some of the crypto behaviour. Andrew Bartlett (This used to be commit 3a140a3691ce49ebf4d1efcb99cfffd26c68a28f)
2007-10-10r3577: add a torture_join_domain_ads_dc() function,Stefan Metzmacher1-0/+94
which will join as a w2k dc joins a ads domain (this is currently not fully implmented, I just have listed the steps we need to do) metze (This used to be commit 29cd3d20e39766455e488c6e240228d8815bd36b)
2007-10-10r3428: switched to using minimal includes for the auto-generated RPC code.Andrew Tridgell1-0/+1
The thing that finally convinced me that minimal includes was worth pursuing for rpc was a compiler (tcc) that failed to build Samba due to reaching internal limits of the size of include files. Also the fact that includes.h.gch was 16MB, which really seems excessive. This patch brings it back to 12M, which is still too large, but better. Note that this patch speeds up compile times for both the pch and non-pch case. This change also includes the addition iof a "depends()" option in our IDL files, allowing you to specify that one IDL file depends on another. This capability was needed for the auto-includes generation. (This used to be commit b8f5fa8ac8e8725f3d321004f0aedf4246fc6b49)
2007-10-10r3391: fixed some memory leaks in the schannel codeAndrew Tridgell1-24/+14
(This used to be commit eb3366d3667ddddf7ab5eae5d1fbc5de86c41072)
2007-10-10r2458: Rename policy handle parameters for the SAMR pipe. Parameters nowTim Potter1-18/+18
have the handle type implied by the parameter name. There are four types of handle: connect, domain, user and group handles. The various samr_Connect functions return a connect handle, and the samr_OpenFoo functions return a foo handle. There is one exception - the samr_{Get,Set}Security function can take any type of handle. Fix up all C callers. (This used to be commit 32f0f3154a8eb63de83145cbc8806b8906ccdc3e)
2007-10-10r2267: we no longer need to force the domain join to happen on NCACN_NP - itAndrew Tridgell1-6/+5
now works on NCACN_IP_TCP as well. (This used to be commit 9cc33d936407255b5c5fb9bde37d918cf268c784)
2007-10-10r2200: solved another piece of the lsakey puzzle - the session key for lsaAndrew Tridgell1-4/+5
encryption on ncacn_ip_tcp is a fixed buffer! I don't yet know what the buffer is, but this code proves its the same buffer for different w2k3 servers and different user passwords, plus it is independent of the negotiated NTLMSSP session key. (This used to be commit 05fd38f3cfd9476bc1cf7fed838a942a75569c0a)
2007-10-10r2182: force the torture test domain join to happen on SMB to prevent theAndrew Tridgell1-5/+5
LSAKEY problem holding up other tests (This used to be commit ad8d54fd7dd93cb984d23acecfc1c611b63a5d58)
2007-10-10r2100: rework the dcerpc client side library so that it is async. We nowAndrew Tridgell1-1/+1
generate a separate *_send() async function for every RPC call, and there is a single dcerpc_ndr_request_recv() call that processes the receive side of any rpc call. The caller can use dcerpc_event_context() to get a pointer to the event context for the pipe so that events can be waited for asynchronously. The only part that remains synchronous is the initial bind calls. These could also be made async if necessary, although I suspect most applications won't need them to be. (This used to be commit f5d004d8eb8c76c03342cace1976b27266cfa1f0)
2007-10-10r1961: print out the dcerpc fault code, when we got NT_STATUS_NET_WRITE_FAULTStefan Metzmacher1-1/+5
(this need to be done more generic for all dcerpc calls, but for now I just need it in this 2 places) metze (This used to be commit d965f84f69ada2a10e9159aa1743c0bee7790488)
2007-10-10r1041: - pulled the domain join code out of the netlogon test and made it a ↵Andrew Tridgell1-0/+277
separate utility function, to allow multiple torture tests to temporarily join a domain - fixed a session key size problem - added a schannel test suite - allow schannel to work with ncacn_ip_tcp (This used to be commit 36f05e4d575099fcb957b8a55781c38dcd2e1177)
