2007-10-10r8520: fixed a pile of warnings from the build farm gcc -Wall output onAndrew Tridgell1-2/+2
S390. This is an attempt to avoid the panic we're seeing in the automatic builds. The main fixes are: - assumptions that sizeof(size_t) == sizeof(int), mostly in printf formats - use of NULL format statements to perform dn searches. - assumption that sizeof() returns an int (This used to be commit a58ea6b3854973b694d2b1e22323ed7eb00e3a3f)
2007-10-10r8058: added testing of delete on close for files and directoriesAndrew Tridgell1-1/+1
(This used to be commit 214e51b3c8021dfe31ad951603bae64fa281b0f8)
2007-10-10r6795: Make some functions static and remove some unused ones.Jelmer Vernooij1-19/+0
(This used to be commit 46509eb89980bfe6dabd71264d570ea356ee5a22)
2007-10-10r5037: got rid of all of the TALLOC_DEPRECATED stuff. My apologies for theAndrew Tridgell1-5/+5
large commit. I thought this was worthwhile to get done for consistency. (This used to be commit ec32b22ed5ec224f6324f5e069d15e92e38e15c0)
2007-10-10r4547: - added talloc_new(ctx) macro that is a neater form of the common ↵Andrew Tridgell1-1/+1
talloc(ctx, 0) call. - cleaned up some talloc usage in various files I'd like to get to the point that we have no calls to talloc(), at which point we will rename talloc_p() to talloc(), to encourage everyone to use the typesafe functions. (This used to be commit e6c81d7c9f8a6938947d3c1c8a971a0d6d50b67a)
2007-10-10r4261: added the RAW_FILEINFO_EA_LIST trans2 qfileinfo and qpathinfoAndrew Tridgell1-31/+42
level. Interestingly, this level did now show up on our trans2 scanner previously as we didn't have the FLAGS2_EXTENDED_ATTRIBUTES bit set in the client code. Now that we set that bit, new levels appear in windows servers. (This used to be commit 0b76d405a73e924dc2706f28bbf1084a59c9b393)
2007-10-10r4243: a sniff from kukks showed that the ea_set interface in trans2 ↵Andrew Tridgell1-11/+8
setfileinfo allows for multiple EAs to be set at once. This fixes all the ea code to allow for that. (This used to be commit b26828bef5d55e5eef0e34a164e76292df45e207)
2007-10-10r4173: - new t2open code, that can cope with "create with EAs". Many thanksAndrew Tridgell1-0/+56
to kukks on #samba-technical for the sniffs that allowed me to work this out - much simpler ntvfs open generic mapping code - added t2open create with EA torture test to RAW-OPEN test (This used to be commit a56d95ad89b4f32a05974c4fe9a816d67aa369e3)
2007-10-10r4035: more effort on consistent naming of the access mask bits.Andrew Tridgell1-1/+1
This removes the duplicate named SEC_RIGHTS_MAXIMUM_ALLOWED and SEC_RIGHTS_FULL_CONTROL, which are just other names for SEC_FLAG_MAXIMUM_ALLOWED and SEC_RIGHTS_FILE_ALL. The latter names match the new naming conventions in security.idl Also added names for the generic->specific mappings for files are directories (This used to be commit 17a4e0b3aca227b40957ed1e0c57e498debc6ddf)
2007-10-10r4011: get rid of rpc_secdes.h and replace it with a single sane set ofAndrew Tridgell1-8/+10
definitions for security access masks, in security.idl The previous definitions were inconsistently named, and contained many duplicate and misleading entries. I kept finding myself tripping up while using them. (This used to be commit 01c0fa722f80ceeb3f81f01987de95f365a2ed3d)
2007-10-10r3699: - split the delayed write testing out of RAW-WRITE, as it is not yetAndrew Tridgell1-0/+14
clear what the correct behaviour is for delayed stat info update. - use a common torture_setup_dir() function for setting up a test directory in torture tests. (This used to be commit f7fb34715b7d6ea3c35ddd684cfb27459a420339)
2007-10-10r3507: - added deferred replies on sharing violation in pvfs open. TheAndrew Tridgell1-15/+0
deferred reply is short-circuited immediately when the file is closed by another user, allowing it to be opened by the waiting user. - added a sane set of timeval manipulation routines - converted all the events code and code that uses it to use struct timeval instead of time_t, which allows for microsecond resolution instead of 1 second resolution. This was needed for doing the pvfs deferred open code, and is why the patch is so big. (This used to be commit 0d51511d408d91eb5f68a35e980e0875299b1831)
2007-10-10r3447: more include/system/XXX.h include filesAndrew Tridgell1-0/+1

(This used to be commit 73ea8ee6c268371d05cf74160f2ad451dd2ae699)
2007-10-10r3419: moved the libcli/raw structures into libcli/raw/libcliraw.hAndrew Tridgell1-0/+1
and made them private (This used to be commit 386ac565c452ede1d74e06acb401ca9db99d3ff3)
2007-10-10r2062: Fix a couple more of the printf warnings (real bugs).Andrew Bartlett1-1/+1
You should never pass a non-constant string as a format for a printf() function - it could contain printf macros, and these need to be checked. Andrew Bartlett (This used to be commit 183622c9f4dfe858564bbcb8c1a930d69b37f7fa)
2007-10-10r1740: fixed the torture suite for ASCII-only serversAndrew Tridgell1-2/+9

metze (This used to be commit af6f1f8a01bebbecd99bc8c066519e89966e65e3)
2007-10-10r873: converted samba4 to use real 64 bit integers instead ofAndrew Tridgell1-5/+5
structures. This was suggested by metze recently. I checked on the build farm and all the machines we have support 64 bit ints, and support the LL suffix for 64 bit constants. I suspect some won't support strtoll() and related functions, so we will probably need replacements for those. (This used to be commit 9a9244a1c66654c12abe4379661cba83a73c4c21)
2007-10-10r152: a quick airport commit ....Andrew Tridgell1-12/+5
added ldbedit, a _really_ useful command added ldbadd, ldbdel, ldbsearch and ldbmodify to build solved lots of timezone issues, we now pass the torture tests with client and server in different zones fixed several build issues I know this breaks the no-LDAP build. Wait till I arrive in San Jose for that fix. (This used to be commit af34710d4da1841653624fe304b1c8d812c0fdd9)
2004-02-08Convert libcli routines to use cli_tree instead of cli_state. PortTim Potter1-3/+3
smbtorture to use the new interface. Part 2 will be to eliminate cli_state from smbtorture as this is now the only place where it is used. (This used to be commit db1cc96af62ea42837d60592877fc3f93cef143b)
2003-12-04* patch based on work by Jim Myers to unify the ioctl handling to beAndrew Tridgell1-6/+18

2003-09-02thanks to ntfsd and some google searches I worked out what the unknownAndrew Tridgell1-2/+2
fields in level 261 and level 262 of directory search are, plus the names of the levels the unknown fields are a 64bit unique file id, and match the 64 bit number from the internal_information qfileinfo level (This used to be commit b69f54eb028a24144a2e813f059b08644118ab09)
2003-08-15fixed some places where we don't brace (flags & STR_UNICODE)Andrew Tridgell1-0/+1
this fixes the samba4 server with ascii clients (This used to be commit c770603ac6c3331a4ac79a650cbbbeb21c778137)
