2012-11-22web_server: the web server is not multi-process, indicate so in WSGI.Jelmer Vernooij1-1/+1
This is a requirement for some of the paster middleware used by SWAT2. Reviewed-by: Matthieu Patou <mat@matws.net>

2012-11-22web_server/wsgi: Don't segfault when wsgi app doesn't return iterable.Jelmer Vernooij1-0/+5
There is a bug in the application if this happens, but invalid Python code shouldn't cause segfaults. Reviewed-by: Matthieu Patou <mat@matws.net>
2012-05-23Introduce system MIT krb5 build with --with-system-mitkrb5 option.Alexander Bokovoy1-0/+2
System MIT krb5 build also enabled by specifying --without-ad-dc When --with-system-mitkrb5 (or --withou-ad-dc) option is passed to top level configure in WAF build we are trying to detect and use system-wide MIT krb5 libraries. As result, Samba 4 DC functionality will be disabled due to the fact that it is currently impossible to implement embedded KDC server with MIT krb5. Thus, --with-system-mitkrb5/--without-ad-dc build will only produce * Samba 4 client libraries and their Python bindings * Samba 3 server (smbd, nmbd, winbindd from source3/) * Samba 3 client libraries In addition, Samba 4 DC server-specific tests will not be compiled into smbtorture. This in particular affects spoolss_win, spoolss_notify, and remote_pac rpc tests.

2011-06-06s4-ipv6: use "ip" instead of "ipv4" for serversAndrew Tridgell1-1/+1
this allows stream_setup_socket() to work with both v4 and v6 addresses
2011-06-06s4-ipv6: use iface_list_wildcard() to listen on IPv6Andrew Tridgell1-7/+17
when we need to listen on a wildcard address, we now listen on a list of sockets, usually 0.0.0.0 and ::
2011-05-08s4-interfaces Rename interfaces code so not to conflict with source3/Andrew Bartlett1-3/+3
The iface_count, iface_n_bcast, and load_interfaces functions conflicted with functions of the same name in source3, so the source4 functions were renamed. Hopefully we can actually wrap one around the other in future. Andrew Bartlett

2011-02-07s4-python Don't force "bin" into the python sys.pathAndrew Bartlett1-1/+2
This patch uses the fact that dyn_PYTHONDIR and dyn_PYTHONARCHDIR is now set properly at all times, incluidng for installed and build-directory binaries. So we don't need to make assumptions about bin being magic any more. Andrew Bartlett

2010-11-15s4-server: make server sockets a child of the task contextAndrew Tridgell1-2/+3
We previously allocated sockets as direct children of the event context. That led to crashes if a service called task_server_terminate(), as it left the socket open and handling events for a dead protocol. Making them a child of the task allows the task to terminate and take all its sockets with it. Pair-Programmed-With: Andrew Bartlett <abartlet@samba.org>

2010-10-30s4-smbd: don't initialise process models more than onceAndrew Tridgell1-1/+1
this also removes the event_context parameter from process model initialisation. It isn't needed, and is confusing when a process model init can be called from more than one place, possibly with different event contexts. Pair-Programmed-With: Andrew Bartlett <abartlet@samba.org>

2010-07-16s4-loadparm: 2nd half of lp_ to lpcfg_ conversionAndrew Tridgell1-7/+7

2010-06-24s4-python: python is not always in /usr/binAndrew Tridgell1-1/+1
Using "#!/usr/bin/env python" is more portable. It still isn't ideal though, as we should really use the python path found at configure time. We do that in many places already, but some don't. Signed-off-by: Andrew Bartlett <abartlet@samba.org>

This was needed only by Python 2.3 which we no longer support.
2009-10-23s4-python: we need to include Python.h firstAndrew Tridgell1-1/+1

2009-09-18s4-server: kill main daemon if a task fails to initialiseAndrew Tridgell1-1/+1
When one of our core tasks fails to initialise it can now ask for the server as a whole to die, rather than limping along in a degraded state.
